Fruit Salad

I like to mix up Yoplait Vanilla Custard yogurt with a little Yoplait Lemon yogurt as the glaze for my fruit salads.  (I know a lady who uses a little marshmallow creme in hers!)
I top it with some pecans!  Mmmmm!

Cheeseburger Pie, Salad, and Cake

Last night I made a meal for our Pastor, his wife and their four small children. I made "Impossible Cheeseburger Pie" from the Bisquick box. It's so simple and delicious. You fry some hamburger, layer it in a pan, (I added a can of corn on top of the meat), cover with shredded cheddar cheese, and then pour on some prepared Bisquick and bake.

TAKE NOTE: USE A SHALLOW BAKING DISH!

I used a deeper dish....and it didn't finish cooking in the middle! I was horrified to take out the casserole, and see the cheese burning around the edges, and the middle looked like pudding! Aaaagh! I cut the pieces from around the edges that were done, and took those to the family. The kids loved it. I guess it was alright if approved by four kids under age 8!!! Yeah!

Here is the meal:
(As the family is in the processing of moving, they asked for everything to be in disposable containers.)
I'll end with this:
I found a frosting I love!
I have NEVER liked frosting on cake. Even as a kid at birthday parties, I remember turning the cake frosting side to the plate, and just eating the cake on top. I love the buttercream frosting at Costco...and that's the only kind I'll eat as an adult.
Until now.
I found that Betty Crocker makes a Whipped Buttercream Frosting in the can.
YUMMY!
