So...I don't get to cook much!
But when I do...I want the world to know about it!
I am no Martha. Nor do I wish to be. I'm just a real person. With a real life. And a real budget.
Here is what I make...

<strong>My recipe for Quinoa</strong> (pronounced Keen-Wah) is:<br />
<br />
1 C. Veggie Broth<br />
1C. Water<br />
1 C. quinoa<br />
<br />
Put all three in a saucepan, on high until it boils. Then turn down to about 3 or 4, put a lid on and let cook for 10-12 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve! Mmmm...Mmmm....Mmmm...<br />
<br />
I do not like mushy asparagus! Ewww! <strong>My favorite way to prepare Asparagus is in the oven.</strong><br />
I cover a cookie sheet with tin foil for easier clean-up. Spray with Olive Oil. Lay your asaparagus spears down. Spray them with more Olive Oil. Sprinkle with Salt. Bake at about 350 degrees until you can poke with a fork. Not a second longer! :)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15244245535700748135noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3312004691221361187.post-367505879236268252009-06-04T16:10:00.000-07:002009-06-04T16:25:42.276-07:00Enchilada CasseroleThis was so delicious!!! I made <strong>"Impossible Cheeseburger Pie" from the Bisquick box</strong>. It's so simple and delicious. You fry some hamburger, layer it in a pan, (I added a can of corn on top of the meat), cover with shredded cheddar cheese, and then pour on some prepared Bisquick and bake.<br /><br />TAKE NOTE: USE A SHALLOW BAKING DISH! <br /><br />I used a deeper dish....and it didn't finish cooking in the middle! I was horrified to take out the casserole, and see the cheese burning around the edges, and the middle looked like pudding! Aaaagh! I cut the pieces from around the edges that were done, and took those to the family. The kids loved it. I guess it was alright if approved by four kids under age 8!!! Yeah!<br /><br />Here is the meal:<br /><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><a style="MARGIN-LEFT: 1em; MARGIN-RIGHT: 1em" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibbiuGkChd3ojuxqpp5lvzjeKD0k168elug-gOX570BXhiWfbNFHh6xHaZN_Vgssz4F3Exm0QhOdh2PG_Lshrmbj-MMnZBNmYewf0_gMKOXyyk-GX6XHx4htCSRmJuArmVlpbtTv8n0Ck/s1600-h/IMG_2270.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibbiuGkChd3ojuxqpp5lvzjeKD0k168elug-gOX570BXhiWfbNFHh6xHaZN_Vgssz4F3Exm0QhOdh2PG_Lshrmbj-MMnZBNmYewf0_gMKOXyyk-GX6XHx4htCSRmJuArmVlpbtTv8n0Ck/s400/IMG_2270.JPG" border="0" vi="true" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><a style="MARGIN-LEFT: 1em; MARGIN-RIGHT: 1em" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiXLzVsv6Q6MAS6tI1_FKFNU0WTltoMX8qWIyxBv6EKhERLAeL-SqKGxUyrhrKYb2qRPW9rNf9DV89LgDGGYZibusHvHr7FPOttG09r_91EAxMuFAM9lv-VvBEKAwza8eBAgkufc1RJhg/s1600-h/IMG_2269.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiXLzVsv6Q6MAS6tI1_FKFNU0WTltoMX8qWIyxBv6EKhERLAeL-SqKGxUyrhrKYb2qRPW9rNf9DV89LgDGGYZibusHvHr7FPOttG09r_91EAxMuFAM9lv-VvBEKAwza8eBAgkufc1RJhg/s200/IMG_2269.JPG" border="0" vi="true" /></a><a style="MARGIN-LEFT: 1em; MARGIN-RIGHT: 1em" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgboxT-qJpY3dWr3So5wc8xc9w8Qpb-_OZ-2IymE01YicTHGWcSF8SXQFl07L3DOJWD4aDdWxuvjnNboRY4Z2UbPZKtLxDAqCwgEtACZ8fSOGMklER6G1oz5aJt4AvdvUI3OlF-x2cW79Q/s1600-h/IMG_2268.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgboxT-qJpY3dWr3So5wc8xc9w8Qpb-_OZ-2IymE01YicTHGWcSF8SXQFl07L3DOJWD4aDdWxuvjnNboRY4Z2UbPZKtLxDAqCwgEtACZ8fSOGMklER6G1oz5aJt4AvdvUI3OlF-x2cW79Q/s200/IMG_2268.JPG" border="0" vi="true" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center">(As the family is in the processing of moving, they asked for everything to be in disposable containers.)</div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center">I'll end with this:</div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center">I found a frosting I love!</div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"></div><div class="separator" style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center">I have NEVER liked frosting on cake.
